I saw this, at best recollection in an index of an obit ( Pre 1900) or Lois Barris index of the Dunkirk Evening News? or at the Fenton Hist. Society re: "The information from the Bible you mention agrees with that given by Mike Stafford in GenForum" I hope so, Since I'm the Sole Custodian.of the Stafford Bible( Poland Twp) ( author believed to be (Ruth) Viola Harrington Stafford) . note the reference to a H Trump <<< me re: "Do you agree that Abel Stafford and Minerva Saxton are the parents of Austin John Stafford?" Yes, That is not an issue so much as ID'ing all of Abel's and Minervas Children. Many of the children died early on. Living in a log cabin along Drybrook Valley base of Tucker Cemetery I have a copy of the Land Transfer from the Probate of Isaac Stafford where all the children (Abel's Siblings) signed the transfer. I just don't know in which Coounty was he named Executor of the Estate ( Chenango or Chautauqua) He's mentioned in both locations as executor . Care must be taken since I know of a least 2 John's, 2 Abel's, 2 Isaac's and other Duplicates names of Different Generations. I'm just using Bertha William Anthony's book as a guide and trying to collect Primary records to Roger Williams. I believed there are about 1 or more references still out there yet to be discovered. Please feel free to pass along the title and author of simular refernces to this line. At this point and in this region there are on two surviving Stafford -surnamed people living, One from Austin's Line and the other from McClellan Line. H Trump
