    1. Re: [NYCAYUGA] Palatine German DNA Study of interest to Upstate New York Families
    2. Hmm, you know, it would be interesting to let maybe Gary and Donald Fink know about this. DNA doesn't change for men. It stays the same generation after generation, which is how cousins are found. The maternal DNA really doesn't tell much except general area of origin. Well, those who aren't into this aren't so interested. I really would like to have the Smith DNA entered into the Smith studies. Finding that family is still a challenge. -----Original Message----- >From: Dick Hillenbrand <nygenes@gmail.com> >Sent: Jan 14, 2008 6:04 AM >To: nycayuga@rootsweb.com >Subject: [NYCAYUGA] Palatine German DNA Study of interest to Upstate New York Families > >Cayuga County families that connect to the Palatine German Immigration group >of 1710 will very likely be interested in a recent announcement of the >"Palatine DNA Project." > >You can read about this on the Upstate New York Genealogy website at: >www.unyg.com and clicking on the "UNYG Blog." > >------------------------------- >To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NYCAYUGA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
