Cayuga Co. or NY in general? I'm no expert but I suspect you'll have to try each county. If it's before 1850, look up Gertrude Barber's books, or Vosborg (spelling?), or Fred Q. Bowman. Otherwise, you'll probably have to write the county clerks. Most of these books are available from LDS on film.
