I'm researching these families and collateral names in southern Cayuga County. CHASE, TOBIAS in Union Springs, Town of Springport area. Farmers during early part of 1800's. TITUS in same area. Arrived in early/mid 1800's from Dutchess County and Long Island. Belonged to Quaker faith at least early on. WARD family arrived in 1852 from England (William and Mary Ann) and originally settled in Ledyard. I've got something on at least some of the descendants of each of their children. Farmers early on, later some worked in factories, but many still farmers. Descendants owned/operated the following businesses in/around Auburn in this century: George H Ward & Son (car dealer), Ward Trucking, Ward Wreckers, A D Ward & Son (fuel delivery) and to the present day Ward Oil Co. INGALLS arrived in Fleming around 1900-1910 from Antwerp in Jefferson County. I don't have a lot on the present day members of these families, except for the WARD line. I list the various enterprises in case some of the cousins are just starting out and don't know the line on back. I'd love to hear from any and all cousins!
