Family records say his family originally settled in Rhode Island, but I have never been able to track them down in RI. I have found other Parsellses in DRC church records from Orange County, but not Paez. Paez is the father of John Parsells, born 1807, location unknown, who married and lived most of his life in Wurtsboro, which is in Sullivan County very near the Orange County border. The woman John married, Elizabeth Helm, was from an old Wurtsboro family, but that doesn't necessarily mean that John was from Wurtsboro originally. Wife of Paez was Isabella Young Parsells, born in France. I do not know if they had other children, nor do I know if Paez had brothers/sisters.
