I've "rescued" a group of old photographs from Auburn, New York including two which are specifically identified as Ida PHILLIPS. The two identified photographs were taken at the Cooke Studio in Auburn when Ida was two years old in the Fall of 1908. The photographs are not identical, however her outfit is the same so I'm assuming they were taken on the same day. The other two photographs recovered along with Ida's photos are both of babies, the first likely taken in the 1880's at the H.S. Synyen Studio in Auburn and the second probably in the 1890's or early 1900's at the Lindsley Studio in Auburn. I don't know what the connection to Ida might be, however, they were all obtained from the same source so I believe there is likely some connection. I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that all the photographs can be returned to their rightful place. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.
