    3. I believe that the information on the web is only a tiny fraction of that available. The LDS main Family History Library in Salt Lake has incredible amounts of material not on any web site. 3 million rolls of microfilm plus hundreds of thousands of volumes of printed books. Each county I visit has treasure troves of local materials. There're hundreds of Nations with records that are not digitized. Think of the newspaper materials that are lodged in local county archives. The thousands of untranscribed & unphotographed graveyards, bibles, church records, court records... I wish it was all online, but I doubt it will ever be. Travel will never be unnecessary.
