Kathi - I noticed Cummings as one of the names you are researching. I've got a really difficult brickwall that includes a Cummings. Or, at least, I think it does - I have conflicting information about this family which is making research even more difficult. I would sure appreciate receiving any information you might have that seems related to the following people (whose surnames appear in Cayuga records, but I haven't found the specific individuals - just probable relatives). George Cogswell m. to Clairana Cummings, had a daughter named Clarissa Cummings b. abt 1806 in NY. Clarissa m. Barney Bouck (b. abt 1800 NY) in NY, then they moved to OH>IL>IA. They are buried in IA. Other NY surnames related to these people: Sparling, Luckey/Lucky & Stacy/Stacey. Any of this sound familiar?
