Devoe living 5 residences away from Ira CALL. was a David DEVOE in earlier Cayuga Co., NY censuses with a daughter of the right age to be Betsey. 1850 census there is a David DEVOE still living in Mentz, died and buried in the early 1850's in the Montezuma Rural Cemetery. was a Daniel DEVOE (son of David) on an 1853 map for the Town of Mentz in Cayuga County.
