I have been attempting to put together members of the TODD-ATKINSON-JEFFERSON families from Yorkshire, England to America in the early 1880's. Mark Jefferson, born in Sept. 1876 in England, came with parents to America in 1881, and was naturalized in 1883. In 1900, they lived in Louisville, Kentucky. He is listed in the 1910 census in Bradford Co., PA, but no information as "out of town - facts not well documented". Frustrating. In 1920 they were in Auburn, Cayuga Co. He is listed with wife Josephine, age 35, sons William and Richard, ages 9 and 8, and daughter Dorothy, not quite 3. Wife and children were born in Ohio. They did get around. Couldn't find anything in 1930 census. So, if anyone knows anything about these people, I'd sure be grateful for a "heads up". And if anyone just happened to belong to this family, I'd probably be able to help you with what I've gathered from England (several generations) and others of the Jefferson branch in the US.
