Does anyone have information about this couple? Allen Mosher (b 1825) m. Marion Isabella Wheeler (b. 4/24/1829); she was daughter of Cyrenus Wheeler, Sr. and Thirza D. Evans. They lived in Poplar Ridge and later in Aurora. I believe Allen was a Merchant and later Banker. They had at least one son Avery W. Mosher b. 1855. The couple seems closely tied to my earlier Culver's in Poplar Ridge. I don't know if it was just friendship or if there were any blood ties. What I know is that Marion Isabella's brother Henry Josephus Wheeler (b. 1834) m. Cornelia Culver (b. 1835). Her brother Ozias B. Culver (b. 1846) m. Frances Cornelia White (b. 1849). They named one son Allen Mosher Culver b. 1872, although as far as I know Allen Mosher was just Ozias's sister's brother-in-law. Another son of Ozias and Frances, Coral Case Culver b. 1874 m. Marion Jemina Stevenson Mitchell (prob. born Sennett, 1877, but they moved to Poplar Ridge before 1890). She had a sister Isabella Mitchell b. 1880 (prob Sennett, Cayuga). Only just realized these two sisters were Marion and Isabella, which might be a coincidence or might be in honor of Marion Isabella Wheeler. The Mitchell's were Scottish, so Isabella doesn't seem like the most common Scottish name. Additional details on Allen Mosher and Marion Isabella Wheeler would be appreciated.
