In the official "Ballot Book" for the Military track the book shows Lot 22 in the old town of Milton (now Town of Genoa) as being awarded to Jotham Fenton, not to a David Austin. I was attracted to your posting because I am trying to trace my James AUSTIN Jenkins b. Sept. 25, 1799 Columbia co. NY to Joseph Jenkins and Sophia Babbitt. I have his fathers side but am looking for his mothers side. While I'm at it, my James married Polly Dole b. 1803 Cayuga Co. She is somehow related to a John A. Dole and the Whittmore family.
