Hi Bill & list, Two questions or comments: I opened the small file, saw what I thought might be a church. So opened the larger file hoping it would be worth the wait. (It took 42 minutes to open.) I was hoping that the cemetery would show up. There was a cemetery at Semproinius. Is it no longer in existence? What is the usage today of the building with "double cupolas?" Remember, Bill, that this is a genealogy site. I farmed & still own my farm so I understand & share your concerns but this doesn't seem to be the forum to express the concerns unless you allow me to express some concerns in other areas that I have. Thanks for the photos. I have been waiting for Sempronius to show up since I live in the Midwest. I am a descendent of Robert Niles. Hi Rose, Rest assured the [Atwater] cemetery is still there and looking better than ever. It is actually about 3/4 mile east of the church which would be off of the lower left corner of the picture. The Sempronius Baptist Church is still active.
