Thank you for posting the contents of the 1844 Poplar Ridge Seminary Catalogue of Teachers and Pupils! At first I wasn't going to look and they decided to do so. And I found my great great grandfather, John M. Lamkin! Was this school a seminary in today's sense of the word? Was it a school for those of any particular denomination? Can anyone read the words written at the bottom of pages 6 and 7? Thank you. Pat
