Yes, there are many of that name in Wisconsin. Your Alzada Hugaboom (I had her name as Arvada) was the daughter of George and Clarissa Hugaboom. George's parents were Hosea and Sully Sullivan Hugaboom. The family lived in the Versailles and Perrysburg area until they moved to Wisconsin where he was a JP in Waushara Co., Wisc. The brother of Wellington and Alzada, Edwin, married Silena Perkins. Hosea was the son of Jonathan and Esther Tubbs Hugaboom, and although I have much information about the family, I have never ascertained the parents of Jonathan. In 1810, the families were in Otsego Co. at Cherry Valley. My husband descends from Derrick Hoogeboom and is quite distant from Jonathan and Hosea, but all have the Hoogeboom connection as you do also.
