CASE, of Case & Warner, Oregon; born in the town of Rutland, Dane Co., Feb 14, 1848; his father, C.E. CASE, born in Cattaraugus Co, NY, was a very early settler in Union, Rock Co, he coming, two years later, to a farm in Rutland, where he died Aug 11, 1876; his widow, Martha M. CASE, born in Ripley Co, IN, is still living. W.W. CASE has spent his life, and been educated in Dane Co.; began business as a traveling man for Terwilliger & Lindsey; followed this two years, then farmed it two years, and, in company with his brother, O.M. CASE, began businessin the village, Dec 12, 1878; the brother retired in favor of Mr Warner, Sept 17, 1879. Mr Case married, Jan 1, 1872, Miss Hattie E. KOCHER, native of Monroe Co., NY, born Feb 19, 1854; they have two children --Jessie E. and Mark R. Mr Case is a Republican.
