I am interested in the Upthegrove family (spelling could be Uptegrove), I have a Mary Melissa Upthegrove b. abt 1846 she had a brother Laban b. abt 1839. Mary married John McNinch in Conesus, Livingston County, NY and lived in Sparta, Livingston County, NYuntil her death in 1940. Both of these towns are VERY close to Dansville, NY. I wonder if your Emma is a sibling to my Mary and Laban? I have a little information on their parents, do you know anything about Emma's parents? I also found it very interesting that my Laban and his wife Catherine named their daughter: Nora Pearl.
