But Ottilla was probably stating cities and Adam was probably stating provinces. So your G-G-grandmother, Ottilla was probably born around 1831 in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. Your G-G-grandfather Adam was probably born around 1826 in Limburg, Nassau, Germany. When you’re researching, both towns will probably be shown as being in the combined province of Hesse-Nassau. Bobbi
