I am seeking information on various HENDERSON families and their descendants from CATTARAUGUS CO, NY. I am specifically looking for information on a WILLIAM R. HENDERSON,M.D.. He was the son of William H. Henderson, a prominent lawyer from Randolph. William R.'s name is given on the "Very Tall" monument of William H. Henderson in the Randolph Cemetery. The Soundex of 1900 lists William R. Henderson as a resident of Buffalo b March 1866, his wife is listed as Isabel,) TORRANCE) a daughter Dorothy b April 1890 and a son Duncan R. b Jan 1895. William R.was said to be a M.D. in Buffalo, NY. His son, Duncan R. apparently died in 1906 and is buried in a plot next to the large monument of his grandfather, and father. Several Henderson's apparently lived in the area of New Albion, Cattaraugus and Randolph. I have located burials in the Tug Hill, Cattaraugus and the Randolph Cemeteries. Any information on members of these families would be helpful! Does anyone have access or know where I can get access to obituaries of persons buried in any of these cemeteries?
