I found Richmond Nichols, farmer, US Citizen in the1870 NY Census married to Eliza (Pike). There is a child, George, age 6 and an elderly person named Mary ,age 72, "invalid" all born NY living in Ischua Twp, Cattaragus County, Roll 908 page 271. In the 1900 Census (8 Jun 1900 enermation date) I found Charles B. Nichols, head of house white Male born Sept 1873 age 26, single, born in NY both parents born in NY, living in Dist. 47, twp of Ischua, Cattagarus County, NY. Included in the household were Flora, his step mother born May 1868, age 32 md 15 years, born NY, parents from Ireland, and Robert R. a brother born Jun 1880, age 19, single, born NY and both parents born NY. I found Richmond running a hotel in 1892 in Ischua but have not found Richmond in the 1880 Census. This seems to point out that Richmond and Eliza had a son George. Sarah Wickwire and Richmond had Charles B. and Robert R. I have not yet located a child named Grace. I cannot find children of Flora Gilbert and Richmond Nichols.
