Anthony Caswell was about 13 years older than Sylvanus. One minor corection: Sylvanus was born in NY. The only information on his parents, the 1880 census information on birth place of parents, shows Sylvanus' parents as being born in England. The information on Anthony Caswell indicates that his parents and grandparents were born in RI. That would be inconsistent with the little information available on Sylvanus' parents. I will be certain to let you know anything else I discover about Sylvanus Caswell.
