There is a J. H. Congdon (born in 1813 in NY) buried next to my grandfather (Lon Eston Congdon) in Dallas Cemetery, Iowa. My grandfather's father was Philander Congdon (born Oct 24, 1836 in Freedom, Cattaraugus Co, NY). J. H. is obviously some relation but I seem to have hit a wall. I am suspecting maybe a father to Philander. Any help appreciated.
