The funeral services were held from the family home on Saturday, Rev. John Rosenthal of West Valley officiating. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Leo, William and Charles Mahnk of West Machias. Another brother, Henry, died of the same disease a little over a year ago. It was a promising life, cut short before reaching manhood, and many friends sympathize with the afflicted family."
