"Hammond- At the Lutheran Hospital in Buffalo, Feb 2nd, Sophia Karnatz, widow of John Hammond, aged 80 years, 5 months and 2 days. Mrs. Hammon was formerly a resident of this village. Her funeral will be held at the Hospice on Wednesday. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery, Springville, on Thursday."
