The couple subsequently resided in the City of Denver, Colorado. I have pieced together some information on the Chapman family of Franklinville, and have a little more than is presented here. Jun 1, 1839, d. Apr 15, 1867 (Franklinville, Cattaraugus Co., NY) Issue (by first marriage): 1. Myron H. Chapman, b. _____ 1855 (Cattaraugus County), d. Jul 3, 1920 (Franklinville, Cattaraugus Co., NY), m. _____ Jane (“Jennie”) S. _____ , b. _____ , d. _____ . They apparently had no issue since none were listed in his estate proceeding. Gladys Burt writes that he owned a bakery for a couple of years in Franklinville as well as other income properties; that his wife Jennie also had some income properties in Franklinville; and that there is no information about Jennie and her whereabouts after Myron died. 2. (“Belle”) Chapman, b. _____ 1857 (Cattaraugus County), d. _____ , m. _____ Card, b. _____ , d. _____ Mable is found in the 1920 Federal census living next door to her sister, Arie (Chapman) Howard. No husband present. 3. Emory J. Chapman, b. _____ 1859 (Cattaraugus County), d. _____ 4. Arie A. Chapman, b. May 11, 1860 (Cattaraugus County) Issue (possibly by second marriage of Daniel Chapman): 5. Hattie T. Chapman, b. _____ 1862 (Cattaraugus County), d. _____ , m. _____ Adams, b. _____ , d. _____ 6. Frank E. Chapman, b. Oct 4, 1864 (Cattaraugus County), d. Nov __ , 1952, m. _____ Myrtle Waterman, b. _____, d. _____ , div. There were 15 children by this marriage, of which Gladys Burt knows 11. A set of twin females died of small pox, and another female also died of small pox. After the divorce, Myrtle left Franklinville. (See census information below.) Issue: 1.
