Came to Buffalo NY in the late 1850s from England with his widow mother and 4 siblings , Alice 1835 m Samuel POOLEY lived Buffalo, Elizabeth 1837 possibly married a J Cass lived Buffalo, John 1839 married a Nellie Unknow and lived Buffalo and Christina [Anna] 1845 m Dr Orrin Hall br Wales NY lived Zumbrota MN. . All were br St Helens Lancs England....one other brother James 1833 stayed in St Helens Lancs England... William was a tanner by trade served in the Civil War and settled in Portville NY after the war was over... He married Henrietta TOOMER, of Buffalo, in Sept., 1865, and they had 5 children 4 daughters and a son. We have 4 of the children's names Susie Alice William Nellie Looking for last daughters name and any more info on the family and possible living family that tie into this HOLDEN line...
