Since my last posting regarding "Bibles Found"; "Bibles Lost"; "Bibles to Share" I have had quite a few people ask me what the url is again - http://www.usgennet.org/usa/topic/ancestors/ I am currently buried in requests to get new posts made to the site. Please be patient if you have sent in a new request in the past week. I will be on vacation the next two weeks and am hoping to get in a trip to New York to research my elusive WORDEN line. (If anyone on these lists has Worden ancestors or WHITING ancestors, please contact me privately.) My WORDEN line first appears in Chautauqua County in the 1830 census (Hanover) and again the 1840 census (Poland), then on to Yorkshire, Cattaraugus County in the 1850 census. I suspect my John Worden could have been born in Chautauqua County, or possibly Allegany County, NY ca 1807/08. (Any and all help greatly appreciated!!) Brenda in Iowa
