Wooster, Jr. has a considerable amount of information in "The Edward Wooster Family Booklet" about the Walter Ozro Wooster that you are researching. Apparently he was also known as Ozro Walter Wooster, but he is identified on his gravestone as Walter O. Wooster. Ozro Walter was a son of Sheldon Wooster and Loukey Baldwin and a grandson of the Sgt. Walter Ozro Wooster that I wrote about in an earlier message. Ozro Walter was the seventh of Sheldon and Loukey's ten children. In addition to Walter Ozro, five of his siblings are also buried in the Wooster Cemetery in Naugatuck. These are Willis, Jane (m. Sylvester Bailey), Gilbert (twin), Gilead (twin), and Myrtilla (m. Louis Kane). Here is what the booklet says about Ozro Walter: 406. Ozro Walter (6) (Walter Ozro) (Sheldon 5, Sgt. Walter 4, Timothy 3, Timothy 2, Edward 1), born 22 July 1830; died 14 April 1891; married ist 1854 Eliza _______; d. before 2nd marriage; married 2nd 9 October 1862 Emily (Parthree Payne, who was divorced from Roy. L. Payne. They were married by Reverend David Cook in the Presbyterian Church that served Stevensville, Pa. Mr. Wooster was a farmer by occupation. he enlisted in the Union Army during the Civil War at Troy, Pennsylvania 29 March 1864; in Battery A, 2nd Regiment of the Pennsylvania Artillery and was discharged 1 June 1865, he was wounded by gunshot at the battle of Cold Harbor, Richmond, Virginia 4 June 1864, in the left great toe. The booklet goes on to give more information about Hubert F., Mahlon, Sheldon, and Frederick Floyd. If that is of interest to you, let me know and I will type it out for you or else photocopy the pages and send them to you. Two years ago I made a new listing of the graves in the Wooster Cemetery in Naugatuck in preparation to adding to my file at http://skaneateles.org/wooster_cem_naugatuck.htm. So far I have not gotten around to doing anything, but if you are interested I can send the notes to you as an email attachment. They are in the form of an MSWord97 file. My main collection of Wooster genealogy files can be found at http://skaneateles.org/genealogy.html Hope this helps. Kenneth Jennings Wooster
