The following information comes from the 'The MUNGER Book ' published in 1915 by J. B. MUNGER Betsy's line is from Nicholas first son, John MUNGER b East Parish of Guilford, CT 26 April 1660, d same place on the 3rd of November 1732, he married Mary EVARTS on the 8th of June 1864. My line comes from the second son, Samuel. This information is from page 70. Betsy MUNGER b 13 June 1831 Volney, Oswego, NY. She was the fourth child of Luman MUNGER (Orange 5th, Lewis 4th, Jonathan 3rd, John 2nd Nicholas 1st) and Julia HINES. Luman MUNGER b 16 March 1798 Bethlem, CT married Julia Hines b ___New Hartford CT, d 2 April 1869 Phoenix, NY. Daughter of Nathan and Polly (ADAMS) HINES. Luman and Julia were married in 1821 no location listed in book. Children, 7th Generation Diantha 1822 Amos 3 March 1824 Angeline March 1 1828 Betsy 13 June 1831 Eliza 1January 1836 Amelia 1841 Elias 1843 All these children have familes. It states that Luman MUNGER had settled in Volney, Oswego, NY. He was a carpenter by occupation; member of the Methodist Episcopa; church. This information is from page 130 Betsy MUNGER and Benjamin HENDERSON were married in Phoenix, NY the 23rd of March 1848. Benjamin was born in Tully, Onondaga, NY the 13th of April 1825, no death date.
