The 1920 census shows a Nicholas Winter, wife Cecelia, and son Francis, age 8, and daughter Bernice, age 7 of North Collins, Erie Co, NY. According to my notes, Nicholas is the son of Peter Winter and Susan Weber. His sister Catherine married a Joseph Boardway. Ancestry.com shows Cecelia as Cecelia Miller. I have 2 possible Emma Boardway's. One is the daughter of Nicholas Boardway and Catherine Lallman, born 1875. She married a Frederick Herye. The other is Emma Smith, wife of Raymond Boardway, born 1895. They were married in 1919. Raymond's sister, Mary was married to a Clarence Winter. Raymond and Mary are grandchildren of Nicholas and Catherine Boardway. The first Emma would be their aunt. If family can't be found, you may want to donate them to the Gowanda Historical Society.
