Also with Ira is Orville W. Blood, age 67, listed as Ira`s father. In 1860 the only adult Orville Blood on the census index is one in Colden, Erie Co., NY. I`ll type that record below. I`ll also paste the 1880 census record below from the FamilySearch web site. ( http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/default.asp ) In 1850 the only close match I can find is an Orvin Blood, age 16, b. NY in Kent Co., MI. He is with Francis Blood, age 43, b. Mass. & Annis Blood, 40, b. NY. Possibly the family moved to MI before 1850 & then Orville went back to marry.
