It is so tantalizing that in 1830 in Randolph Otis and Bethuel are living in adjacent homes. Ten years later Otis is still there, but William is listed as head of household in the location where Bethuel lived. Oh, I made a mistake. I misremembered about where I saw Bethuel earlier. It wasn't Bethuel, it was Munson Hitchcock who was from Hartford Ct, and it is his house in Victor that is being researched. Sorry. I have summarized the census records on all the Hitchcock households in Ontario and Cattaraugus counties between 1800 and 1850. I can send them if you're interested.
