It was the start of the thread. Is it possible your Hannah lived with Betsey Bump in Wyoming County? Did John Phillips or any of your Phillipses come from Massachusetts first? We're still trying to straighten out the William Phillips' father situation. However, according to the 1800 Federal Census for Hanover, NH, it was Levi PHILLIPS as the head of household quite probably in which William was born in Hanover in 1801. This is the Connecticut Valley country. And a Levi PHILLIPS is found in the 1790 Census in New London, Connecticut. Also, if you have read my earlier post in this chain starting in 2003, I would appreciate any thoughts or input about your own family you might have.
