The Arcade Herald had some obits & it is still published. However, his family ( like his g-granmother) had obits in a Delevan paper ( a cousin sent it to us/year was 1919 ). That paper is not in existance. The Historical Society (when in Little Valley) had many newspapers on microfilm and we did lots of research there; last time we went, we didn't have as much access to items as before ( they moved to the Stone House Rt. 16 in Machias).
