    3. Hi Is there any mention of Dexter Wakefield? I have a letter from him that was in my grandmothers things after she passed away. He signed it as cousin, but I have not been able to connect him to the family yet. thanks. 3. Hi Pat, I can tell you a little about Dexter Wakefield, but all the "littles" count up - Right? Dexter Wakefield was the younger brother of my great grandfather's first wife, Zilpha Wakefield. Zilpha died (at the birth of their second child) in 1859. Dexter was born about 1833 and in 1861 married Mary O. Ingraham. Their marriage date was 21 Feb 1861. They were married in Portville, Cattaraugus County, NY. Dexter was a son of Alpheus Wakefield and Submitte Keith. I probably can't tell you much more, but will be happy to answer any questions you might have if I happen to know the answers. Hope this will be of some assistance in determining how he was a cousin. Good luck in your research. Carol Patricia Zilincik <[email protected]> wrote: Hi Is there any mention of Dexter Wakefield? 3. I'll file this with my Wakefield info and should I come across additional info that looks like it would be helpful will forward it to you. I'm not actively working on that line right now, so if you have a permanent "address" at which you can be reached let me know so you aren't lost in cyberspace!
