Mary, I don't recall seeing any when I was in Machias a few weeks ago at the Cattaraugus County Historical Museum. However, they have all the state census indexed, as well as most of the local obituaries and the surrogate boxes. I found a substantial amount of information while I was there. I know they will do research for those out of the area for a reasonable price - it's listed on their website, which I don't recall at the moment. I'm not sure when I'm going back, otherwise I'd offer to do some quick look ups for the names you are looking for. I've checked FHL, but they have none. If they do, how can I access them from MO? Thanks, Mary ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
