    1. [NYCATTAR] Looking for info on Joseph Patrick Brown and parents Patrick Brown and Delia Driscoll

Joseph married PEARL L. WEED (d/o GEORGE WEED and CORNELIA ISABELLE PALMER) on June 10, 1906 in Binghamton, NY. Joseph and Pearl had two children LEAH MARGARET BROWN (1906-1936) and EDWARD JAMES BROWN (1909-1935). I have never found any records for a Patrick Brown or Delia Driscoll in Olean, NY. The 1910 Federal Census shows Joseph and Pearl living in Binghamton, NY. The 1920 and 1930 Federal Census shows them living in Elmira, NY where Joseph worked for Fell's Ice Co. They later moved to Watertown, Litchfield, CT. I am not sure how long they lived in Connecticut. I have found no records for Joseph P Brown prior to his marriage in 1906. I found on http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nycattar/cemetery/allegany/index.htm a Joseph P Brown and a Pearl Leah Brown buried in the Allegany Cemetery in Allegany, NY. I am wondering if this is the Joseph and Pearl Brown I am looking for. According to the web page Joseph died in 1963 and Pearl Leah died in 1960. They are buried in section S7, lot 132. Does anyone have any ideas on how to find out more information about these burials and the other Browns buried in this section? I wrote the Allegany Cemetery Association listed on the web site back in July 2009 but never received any answer. How would I go about finding out if there were obituaries for the Joseph or Pearl Brown that are buried in this cemetery? Any help or suggestions for finding out more information about Joseph P Brown and his parents Patrick Brown and Delia Driscoll would be greatly appreciated.
