April P. Phillips, 53, of North Main Street, Stockton, died Tuesday [Nov. 26, 1996] at Brooks Hospital in Dunkirk after a brief illness. She was born in Gowanda on April 6, 1943, the daughter of the late Orland Sr. and Ruby (Morgan) Philbrick. Mrs. Phillips is survived by two sons, Ralph "Bucky" Phillips Jr. of Auburn and Adrian Phillips of Jamestown; two daughters, Elida Phillips of Jamestown and Armita "Mittie" Cornelius of Fredonia; and four grandchildren. Also surviving are nine brothers, Chester Philbrick of New Jersey, Donald Philbrick and Darwin Philbrick, both of Oregon, Douglas Philbrick of Michigan, Orland Philbrick Jr. of Jamestown, Charles Philbrick of Ohio, Henry Philbrick of Niobe, N.Y, Clifford Tingue of Jamestown and Floyd Boardman of Cherry Creek; nine sisters, Joyce Masters of New Jersey, Lola Opelinic of Erie, Dorothy Grisanti of Forestville, Katherine Olson of Ohio, Mary Ann Lounsbury of Texas, Caroline Stewart of Stockton, Eva Ferino of Jamestown, Viola Mulhulland of Florida and Susan Hand of Randolph; and several neices and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Franklin and Bernard Philbrick; and two sisters, Audrey Rabe and Beatrice Gulley.
