Daniel Phillips b. 1837 in NY prob around Farmersville - was the son of Daniel and Polly Lafferty Phillips. He married Caroline Eliza Dean (daughter of Paul and Eliza Dean) around 1855. 1860 and 1865 census shows them living in Carrolton. By 1865 they had two sons - Elmer b. 1858 and Joseph b. 1861 or so. I can not find a reasonable match to this family anywhere after 1865. If anyone knows what happen to them or where they went, please contact me. Email is cbarber@brockwaytv.com. Thanks so much!
