He had a good friend named Johnny Woods, who had also grown up in Onoville. My grandfather and Johnny Woods ended up living in Buffalo, New York. My grandfather was born in the late 1800's so I would imagine that his friend Johnny Woods would likely have been the son of the John Woods that you mention.
