My grandmother told me of the Native lineage, but I want to confirm Helenor's Chippwea band/tribe. Possibly James mother was of Canadian Indian ancestry. The Villeneuve/Newville families of Quebec were of Metis ancestry. I would appreciate sharing any family history information.
