Office hours: Mon-Wed 10am-1pm & 6pm-8pm, Sat 9am-Noon. Not sure who the historian is currently. One directory has Patricia Bromley, home number 716-296-5709. Another directory has Judy Snyder, home number 716-296-5739. The town clerk will know. NYS vital records don't start until 1880 and many towns didn't record them until the 1890s.
