Some say Cattaraugus County near "Tonga Town" and others say Chautauqua County near Falconer and Jamestown. Any help narrowing down the actual location would be appreciated. I am looking for the family of Julia Ann Fero/Ferow. Her obit says that she was born in Cattaraugus Co., NY on 11 September 1856. It also mentions that she moved with her parents to Iowa in 1866. I found Julia in the 1870 census in Iowa but she was living with a young family that she had no relation to. I have been unable to determine what happened to her parents. There is no record of them in Iowa. It is possible that her father's name was John. -- Terry J. Hickman 435-668-8933

I am looking for an obituary for my great aunt Marjorie Pearl Dolamore who passed away in Olean, New York, on 8 Jan 1988. I am hoping to find where she is buried. I really appreciate any help. Thank you! Kathy Gould
Does anyone have information on Sarah Edwards, born 1808 in Utica, NY and died in 1899 at the age of 90. She is buried in Mr. View Cemetery in Olean, NY, near the graves of Richard Suddick, his wife Samantha, and his daughter Nellie Suddick Weisner. Could Sarah Edwards be the mother of Samantha Suddick? Does anyone know of other Edwards family members in this part of NY State in the late 1800s? Thank you! Linda, piano888@optonline.net.
