I find a discrepancy for Lucinda Swarthout. Her first husband was Wilford Farnum Kinyon. Her second husband was James Coburn to my knowledge they had two sons. My husbands g.grandfather was George Benjamin Kinyon born to Lucinda and Farnum Kinyon in ILL. They were Mormons. Their names are in the history of the Mormon trek to Salt Lake. In Farnum Kinyons "group of ten" were several Swarthouts. I knew Athlyn May Swarthout. Ann died about 1980 of lung cancer. Her mother "Sturgis" had predeceased her by several years. Ann had one son, Norman, who was adopted by her second husband Earl R. Milem. Norman has two daughters. If you are interested in this line perhaps I can find out something from Earl--he has had a stroke which seriously affected his speech-it is very difficult to understand him. I grew up in San Bernardino where there are numerous Swarthouts. Again thank you so much for replying to our query. If you would like e-mail us. Dee

    2. Thank you. My ancestor Hugh Campbell who lived in Perrysburg, said in his will that he gave to his son Colon Campbell my Point Peter farm. Now I know where the Point Peter farm is which is on Point Peter road. The previous message said Point Peter Road is near Gowanda. The Cattaraugus County deed records are at the Family History Library. One of these days I am going to order from my Family History Center the Catt. County deeds. Allan Campbell

    3. On the 1905 state census of N.Y., I found an entry for a family of William Harrison. Apparently he was an attorney in Salamanca during that year at least. His wife was Ida. They had three children, Mabel, William N., and Emily. His sister, Minnie, was living with them as well in the capacity of housekeeper. I'd be interested in knowing the background of the Harrison family, especially if there any living relatives in that area of N.Y. today? I have reason to believe they are distant relatives of mine. Thank you. Sharon, Mn.
