George was born in 1875 and died on 14 November 1958 and he is buried in Sheridan Center Cemetery, Sheridan, Chautauqua County. I think it is possible that George was never married. George is the only child of Sophia Parr Williams (1843-1907) and Thomas Price Williams (1848-1920) Thomas was born in Whitford, South Wales. Sophia is the daughter of Grace PETTET (1811-?) and Amos PARR (1807-1887). I am researching my Parr-Pettet ancestry and I am hoping that some family records and photos may have been passed on to George from his mother, Sophia. My gr. gr. gr. gr. grandmother was Catherine Rich, born about 1824/1826 in New York. She married John Ish 16 April 1843 in Crawford County, Ohio and later moved to Springville in Seneca County. John died in 1855 and is buried in Springville. The dates and locations seem to line up, but it is also coincidental that most of John Ish's family (parents, siblings, etc.) had moved to Hillsdale, Michigan sometime before John's death. Your posts state that Nathan and Polly Rich also moved to Hillsdale. Is this just a coincidence or could Catherine be related to Nathan and Polly? -Kim-
