    3. Hi, I made a request to uscis genealogy last August. My file was ready in February, and it had to be sent to an outside agency for review and redaction. I was not surprised by this, because its subject, my great grandfather, was an active Communist and labor union organizer. However, it has been showing on the website as "case closed" since the end of April, and I haven't received anything, not even notice that they don't intend to send me anything. I've repeatedly emailed them, and gotten the automated response, and I've even sent a letter to the address on the website where you send payment, as this is the only address I can find. Somebody put me on the track to find his file from the court, as he was naturalized in the Eastern District of New York. So I have that. But clearly there must be more in the USCIS file, because there was nothing in the court file that might possibly call for review or redaction. Does anyone have any idea of how I might contact them and get that file? It's driving me nuts. Furthermore, I wanted to hire a professional researcher in Lithuania-which is where he's from-but I didn't want to do that until I could see all the information from that file.
