My great-grandfather, Charles McCarthy, came to America c. 1879 and was living with his brother, Edward and family (Jo O'Hara) according to the 1880 census. I am desperately trying to find Edward and Johanna's descendants. Edward was baptized 1848 in Mahoonagh / Castlemahon parish, Co Limerick and Johanna 18851 in Killeedy civil parish, Glenquin, Co Limerick. They were married 1869 in Killeedy (Church of Ita).
