I have spent many hours down at the Old Cathedral, and many more hours in libraries and repositories researching newspapers and periodicals for stories that were contemporary to the times when things were happening at the church. It is truly an amazing place, and for folks that have an interest in the history of the Catholic Church in New York City, a visit to the Basilica of Saint Patrick's Old Cathedral is a must!
