    3. Audry, I didn't find anything on the internet, only the addresses & phone numbers for the Kings County Civil Court -- http://www.nycourts.gov/courts/2jd/. I first would try to find a recent edition of "The Handy Book for Genealogists," which you could probably find at a local Family History Library. Under the chapter on New York, look for Kings county -- it lists where different county records can be found. Then you may need to do it the old fashioned way by writing a letter, and be sure to include a SASE to better insure a response. http://www.nycourts.gov/courts/2jd/ Good luck! It mentions members of my family. It says that the complaint was filed with the Clerk's Office of Kings County on the 18th of April, 1858. Does any one on this list know if it is possible for me to get more information on this law suit and how I would go about doing so? 2. It's not Kings County Civil Court. Kings County Court Clerk is THE place. -----Original Message----- From: Dorothy Brandner <dl_rb@comcast.net> To: Audry Rini <audryr@comcast.net>; nyc-roots <nyc-roots@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thu, Aug 10, 2017 2:41 am Subject: Re: [NYC-ROOTS] Old law suit Audry, I didn't find anything on the internet, only the addresses & phone numbers for the Kings County Civil Court -- http://www.nycourts.gov/courts/2jd/.
