    3. Hi Marie. I did find the article, but I don’t see any way to copy it rather than just typing it up as you read. If you search for STANKO at that site it is the first article that comes up. I hope she was happy! Mary in Greece

    3. Hi Mary, We, the immediate generation, didn't even know of her existence until she was spotted in family pictures and then ferreted out via immigration records and such! This are my paternal Dutch line who were very tight lipped on the family history. So, this is a real treat to see what happened to her...at least this much. I wish I could tell you she had a good life. Thank you for checking for me. I will continue to search for more on this grand aunt. 3. Yes! An old newspaper article was found where she had run off with a gypsy magician during a carnival and got married to him! I will try and find the article I saw if you would like to see it. She was about 20 years old at the time. I couldn't find anything out of what became of her after this. But, at least, I now know why she disappeared from the family circle! What's so amazing is that she was living with my grandparents who either never told my father or never said anything about this. Thank you so much for checking back with me- Marie On Sat, May 19, 2018 at 4:05 PM, metronycancestry--- via NYC-ROOTS < nyc-roots@rootsweb.com> wrote: > > > Any news on great aunt? > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Rover Barth <barthrover@gmail.com> > To: nyc-roots <nyc-roots@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Sat, May 27, 2017 3:06 pm > Subject: Re: [NYC-ROOTS] Newspaper Story-1909 > > Hi Mary,We, the immediate generation, didn't even know of her existence > until shewas spotted in family pictures and then ferreted out via > immigrationrecords and such! 3. You can save just the article as a jpg to your hard drive. That's what I do.  You can also save it on Ancestry if you have a subscription but I always like a copy on my hard drive. Links can go away.Virginia From: Mary Kyritsis <mkyritsi@hol.gr> To: NYC-Roots List <NYC-Roots@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, May 27, 2017 3:10 PM Subject: Re: [NYC-ROOTS] Newspaper Story-1909 Hi Marie.  I did find the article, but I don’t see any way to copy it rather than just typing it up as you read.
